| Is there anything better than the sound of a Cummins Diesel Motor? I’ll give you the answer... NOPE. Nothing sounds beefier than a CUMMINS. This is the never avaialbe again 12 valve model without all the problems of the newer Diesel Particulate Filtered engines. I had a early year 1998 model 12 valve cummins in a Dodge 3500 and got 23-24 mpg on the highway. The previous owner of this truck reported to me that he also was getting low 20’s on the highway. This is a TWO owner truck. It originally was sold in TN and was then sold to the final owner in 1999 with only 39k miles on it and he brought it to TX. I bought it from my next door neighbor in Austin after seeing it serve as a second truck to him for years. I finally convinced him to part with it which was harder than you might think. |
